Huskies Fall Short in Weekend Split with Melfort
In The Pas Hockey action the Melfort Athletics rallied from 4-0 down to beat The Pas Huskies 6-5 on Saturday and Huskies rebounded to win 7-3 on Sunday. Ticky King led Melfort with a hat trick in game one while Don McDonald scored the decisive goals late. It was The Pas’s Keith Peters banished after an on-ice incident in the Saturday game as Don Black starred in net, stopping 34 shots across both contests.
