The Manitoba Provincial election advance poll for The Pas runs Thursday Friday and Saturday December 6 7 8. Located upstairs in the Legion Hall with entrance off Edwards Avenue at the south end. Polls open 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on all three days. Eligible voters away on election day may cast ballots at the advance poll.

The former Hudson Bay factor's house becomes a Ukrainian Orthodox church at the north end of Fischer Avenue near the Saskatchewan River. A two hour dedication service led by Very Rev. A. Aponuik from Flin Flon was followed by a parish dinner in the Legion Hall attended by about 150, including guests from Flin Flon and Swan River.
