Centennial project seeks pledges for new ice facilities
Centennial plans to convert arena space for figure skating and minor hockey with proceeds from a sale of the current arena. Lions Club has pledged at least $1000 through 1967. other service clubs are urged to commit within a week to meet a June 30 deadline for federal provincial grants. The committee explores financing options and favors forming a community club to administer the project. Local and area residents are urged to participate as farm and Indigenous settlements increasingly use town facilities.

Plans for regional development meeting in Hudson Bay
Plans for the Manitoba Saskatchewan Regional Development Association summer operation will be discussed at Hudson Bay on April 23 with representation from over sixteen communities in northeastern Saskatchewan and northwestern Manitoba.
