Ottawa Headquarters Inspection Team recommends sealing basement leaks cleaning the detachment building and repairing the oil furnace and storage area. It calls for seven seizure lockers replacement of office furniture and construction of heated garage space. Councillors debate funding and timing.
In January, sheep farmer Mr. Wilton shipped 40 lambs to Winnipeg Stock Yards earning about 1200 dollars. Twenty eight were top grade, fifteen good, two commercial, from a flock kept for 15 years. He notes fleece runs 25 percent heavier than in other Canadian regions and the pasture climate suits his flock.
