School Movies Move To Educational Showings
Announcement that starting this week all school shows will be strictly educational and require higher prices. Grade school students pay 10 cents, high school students 15 cents, and adults not in school 20 cents.
Cedar City conference hosts Parowan Stake meetings
The Cedar City quarterly stake conference of the Parowan Stake met last weekend with Saturday and Sunday sessions. Hyrum G. Smith attended for the presiding authorities, Horace N. Cummings represented Sunday School boards, and several ladies represented other auxiliaries. Many locals traveled to attend the sessions.

The Gleaners Club Meeting Held September 13
The Gleaners Club met September 13 at Josephine Mitchells with about 15 members present. Blanche Dalton delivered a successful lecture on Good Manners on the Streets and in Public. Rambouillet Show Shines At Bood County Fair
The Iron County Fair and Second Rambouillet Show highlighted the big ram exhibit and fine domestic arts. Taylor Family Organizes Annual Gathering of Descendants
The First Annual Gathering of the George and Mary Taylor descendants met September 17 1923 at Hannah Taylor Mickelsons home in Huntington Utah. About fifty descendants attended with numerous family members and guests including Samuel Rowley and his relatives. The meeting established a family group with officers and committees covering genealogy social events and advisory roles. A road survey discussion and a farewell party for Mrs Agatha Lunt and an MIA social followed the gathering.

Will Dip Sheep This Fall Meeting Decides Dip Plan
At a local sheepmen meeting held last Monday in the Library auditorium, it was decided that sheep should be dipped this fall though dipping is not mandatory. Messrs J B Dalton and H L Adams will be notified by each willing to dip to estimate dip quantity. Walter Stubbs will be at the corral to pull estrays for those who dip or not. The group also approved a two cent per head assessment to aid state and federal eradication efforts against predatory animals.
