Local Couple United At Sunday Wedding
Mr. Russell L Guymon and Mier Eva Marshall of this city were married last Sunday afternoon at the groom’s grandmother’s home. The ceremony was performed as 4 ore slack by Bishop W L Adams in the presence of family and close friends. The groom is a son of M Ly n Guymon Jr and a Parowan High School graduate. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs George Marshall of Minersville, owns Bya’s Beauty Salon and has been a beauty operator here for almost two years. They will continue to reside here.

Funeral Held For Mrs Clark Benson In Hurricane
Local residents attended the funeral in Hurricane for Mrs Clark Benson who died at St George the previous Saturday after childbirth. Services were at a local church with interment in St George cemetery. Attendees included Arch Benson Betsy Haycock Clara Benson Lorin Seach McKay Smith L B Bennett Libbie Gogoff. James N Connell traveled from here to Cedar City and St George before returning to Los Angeles.

Wife Of Former Resident Buried At Enterprise
Venetta Winsor Adams 43, wife of Roy Adams and sister of local Adams family, died of a paralytic stroke last Wednesday and was buried at Enterprise Tuesday afternoon. The September term of the District Court for Iran County convened Monday afternoon and ran to the next evening. Criminals pled guilty in two cases, with sentences and probation terms set. civil actions were resolved or moved, including naturalization for Toy Burrell, a retrial in a fire damages suit, and divorces with child custody and alimony awarded.
