Final Rites and Delta Life of Morgan B Edwards
Morgan B Edwards 72 of Delta died in a Fillmore hospital after a brief illness. Born May 27 1885 in Paragonah he taught in Paris Idaho Hurricane and Beaver and served on Iron County School Board. Survived by wife four sons two daughters a brother and a sister. Funeral in Delta and Paragonah with services led by local bishops and a graveside blessing.

State Engineer Wayne D Criddie proclaims the closing of wells from November 1 1957 through April 1 1958 to conserve underground water. All artesian and pump wells must be closed except those for beneficial use irrigation not included. Modifications may be granted if compliance causes a partial or complete failure of the well. Disregard is a misdemeanor and may be enforced by district court.

Registration For Adult Education Classes Set
Registration for adult education in Parowan begins Monday evening November 4 at the high school. Classes run weekly for two to three hours with several zero or low fee options, including upholstery, carpentry, sewing, crafts, ceramics, and new offerings like lapidary and dancing. A $5 fee applies to crafts, leather, plastic, and metal, with a special Ladies physical education class at $2.50 if at least 20 enroll.

Mrs. Sarah Ellen Barton of Paragonah was honored at a birthday party with about 50 guests. She turns 85 on October 25, born October 25, 1872, and married Jessie Low Barton December 16, 1895. Her late husband died four years after their marriage.
