County Council Organizes Liberty Loan Drive Names Divisions
The County Council of Defense met Monday with members including Wilford Day and Clayton Mitchell. It organized the drive into three districts covering Cedar City and surrounding towns with a total Liberty Bond appropriation of 80,000 allocated to Cedar City 31,000 Faraway 22,900 Paragon 16,000 Kanarra 5,000 Land and West Side 500 Enoch 2,500 Summit 1,500 Newcastle 2,505.
