Parowan residents Mr and Mrs Waren A Dalton sustained head and minor injuries when their Chevrolet sedan was broadsided by a northbound Federal truck on Parowan Main Street near East Ward Church. The truck driven by Clair Lister halted 35 feet after the impact. Dalton was cited for failure to yield.

A 1300 dollar city appropriation plus lot owner payments funded cleaning and planting of about two hundred burial plots.
