Alfalfa Seed Growers Pool Crop for Sale
Alfalfa seed growers met in the courthouse and formed a pool to sell this year’s crop through a committee. The pool covers about 1000 bushels of seed and the committee consists of Oscar M. Lyman J G Robinson J C Mitchell P H Gurr and A Blakelman. Bids are due by 12 o clock noon on Monday November 23. Dr Fredericks and Dr Maynard of the U A C G will be in Parowan Saturday at 1 o clock for a farmers meeting and a clinic where horses with defects may be shown.

County Officials Review Tentative 1932 Budget
The county commissioners devote most of the session to the tentative 1932 budget prepared by County Clerk and Auditor W. Clair Rowley. The General fund shows salaries at 10 970 dollars, up 909 from this year, with adjustments for courthouse caretaker and deputy sheriff costs. The sheriff’s office gains due to previous year cut exhaustion, while agricultural expense covers a full year next year. Dixie Forest Doings Report On Drought To Road Work
The Dixie Forest notes eight months of quiet work due to staff absences from stress and fire control. The drought drove lambs and livestock from ranges, yet grazing continued within the regular season.
