Mr William Wright a forty year oil man told Parowan residents at the courthouse last night that the south western Utah field near Bloomington Dome holds the world’s largest deposits. He cited government geologists and Spaughs camera findings to back his claim and urged funding for a test well five miles south of St George. The Azona Oil Co seeks $80 investors at 160 per share to finance drilling within ten days, promising a promising future for the Southern Utah field.

The County Commission met Monday and Tuesday to canvass election returns and settle expenses for the regular November meeting.
