Trucker Restrictions Return In Zion Park Highway
Zion National Park warns truckers to avoid park roads except 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM starting May 30 due to resumed tourist traffic. Over size vehicles are prohibited except escorted eastbound at 1:00 PM from the South Entrance and westbound at 2:00 PM from the East Entrance. Former Parowan Lady Dies In Salt Lake City
Mrs Wilma Burton McCarthy 46 of Salt Lake City wife of Waid Aiarthy died after a lituintines at 1403 A.M. in Salt Lake City. Born March 21 1901 in Parowan a daughter of Sidney and Apa Burton. Moved to Salt Lake City in the 1920s married James F and Bernard McCarthy and had two sons. Funeral services held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with interment in Mt Calvary cemetery.
