One Bettridge twin dies after birth week
One of the Bettridge twins born to Mr. and Mrs. Webster Bettridge died Saturday. The surviving twin remained in critical condition, later reported improving at the hospital. Parowan High grads record class size at eighty percent turnout
Parowan High School completes another successful year with forty four graduates the largest class in school history. Eight o clock graduation in the high school gymnasium features Hing Hendricks of the B A C English department delivering the address and James Robb giving the valedictory. The class includes thirty four Tarowan students, nine Paragonah, and one Summit student.

Elden Adams side triumphed over Ormont Gurrs in an attendance contest held by the Gospel Mes engres class of the East Ward Sunday school in April. Gurrs side hosted winners at a Saturday night party in the recreation building banquet hall with dancing games and refreshments. The contest boosted Sunday school attendance and will likely be repeated. Mrs Melinda Adams returned Tuesday from Springs Lake where she visited ill mother.
