Utah Future Farmers of America will gather in Salt Lake City from March 27 to 29 with 500 plus representatives from 48 chapters. National president Donald Stahell of Hurricane will speak after a six week Eastern tour. State finals in public speaking, state farmer degree awards, and the Star State Farmer honor with a $100 cash award are highlighted, along with numerous $100 prize categories and a farm safety campaign.

Service Menu News From Fort Hood Exercise Long Horn
Corporal Arild L. Dalton son of Mr and Mrs Meeks Meeks is at Fort Hood with the 26th Airborne Infantry Regiment as part of Exercise Long Horn the largest maneuver since World War I running March 25 to April 11. The 82nd Division based at Fort Bragg will oppose one armored and two infantry divisions to test fire power and mobility for participating units. Dalton has served as motor sergeant in Headquarters Company and has completed parachute training. Private Lele F Mortensen son of Mr and Mrs Frank Mortensen completed basic training at Camp Chaffee and will join the 27th Infantry Division at Camp Polk for advance training.
