U. S. Fleet Reviewed Off Southern California Coast

Admiral Richard S. Leigh reviewed the fleet off Santa Monica to Long Beach with 130 surface ships and 200 aircraft. The parade included sixteen cruisers, thirteen battleships, seventy destroyers, three aircraft carriers, seventeen submarines and twenty auxiliaries. More than 190,600 spectators lined the shore between San Pedro and Redondo.

Columbia Steel Bids Low on Trans Bay Bridge Steel

Columbia Steel Company a subsidiary of U S Steel was the low bidder to furnish steel for the Oakland San Francisco Trans Bay Bridge. Annual Day Celebration by Relief Societies
