Poor Fishing Marks Season Opening
Poor fishing opened the Southern Utah season with low catches across waters. In Yankee Reservoir Tur owart canyon about 200 anglers, only a dozen reported catches, mostly on trolls. shore fishing was scarce. Forest Supervisor Beten Soh noted poor results at Parmuitch and Navajo lakes, while Enterprise reservoir saw some large catches and many big fish. Beaver fountains had no official reports though rumors claim Puffers lake yielded quality fish. Roads were generally passable but snow drifts prevent climbing over the top. reopening date unknown.
