Four Thousand Fish Planted In Yankee Reservoir
Approximately four thousand fish were planted in the Yankee reservoir on Tuesday afternoon. Fish from the State hatchery at Beaver arrived, with about two thousand planned for planting that day, delayed by muddy roads. Additional fish were placed in Paragenah and Panguitch lakes as access improves later in the season. Local officials and Hatchery staff assisted, noting high water and ongoing road conditions affecting further planting and access.
