Flying Fortress in Java Sea Mission Over Davao Harbor
A veteran pilot recounts a bombing run over Japanese ships near Davao Harbor with four direct hits on a battleship and three smaller craft sunk. The crew then encounters a Messerschmitt 110, prompting a decision to return home. Back in Java they face suspicion from navy authorities about the raids while planning a new target run toward Borneo and Tarakan.
