City Marshal Warns of Flood Dangers at Gravel Trap

Suit filed for quiet title on Cedar Main Street property

Elulda E. Garnhurat filed a suit in district court against Glenwood Froyd and others seeking quiet title to property on the east side of Cedar Main Street. Morris and Matheson represent the plaintiff. The H J Doolittle Co filed suit against M Vernon McBride for collection of an account. Arwan Man Takes Newcastle Bride

Ray I Adams of this city and Miss Nevada Knell of Newcastle wed in the St. George temple on Tuesday and are to make their home in Colorado. Adams, son of Mr and Mrs Thomas B Adams, a Parowan High graduate active in athletics and civic work, and Knell, a Newcastle native and Parowan High graduate, were accompanied by family and guests at the wedding reception and later by a Newcastle wedding supper.

Gibbs Family Caught With Moonshine Cache Sunday

Mrs Adda Gibbs and her sons Max and Earl Hinteritter were arrested after officers, who had watched the cache since the day before near Cedar City, found moonshine in their possession. Max pleaded guilty and received a 150 dollar fine and 170 days jail, suspended on a plan to leave the state. The others pleaded not guilty but faced withdrawn charges. Fines go to the county. the car was released to the Gibbs party by the sheriff.
