Fifty Thousand More Fish Planted at Yankee Meadow Reservoir
Fifty thousand fish two to four inches long were planted Wednesday in the Yankee Meadow reservoir from Springville Hatchery in a tank truck. The fish are not legal to harvest this year but should stock the reservoir for next year. Earlier in the season larger fish planted in the main canyon creek show survival with some moving into irrigation ditches and even onto land.

Weed Eradication Efforts to Continue This Season
Cedar district agricultural inspector John E. Blazzard reports plans to continue the weed eradication program this season. Morning glory patches show extensive kill from last year’s spray while white top control is less complete. Larger patches in infested areas won’t be sprayed unless the owner pays. such areas may be farmed by clean cultivation. He warns California potatoes infested with tuber moth threaten the industry and destroyed stock when found.

Fishermen Must Make Clubhouse Reservations
