Seventy five members of the Herbert S. and Lucy Hyatt family gathered for a two day reunion. On Saturday they met in the First Ward Relief Society Rooms with a program, a business meeting followed dinner, and an evening showing of pictures of Mr and Mrs Hyatt. Sunday featured a family dinner at Vermillion Castle Forest Camp with most immediate family present. Special guests included three Gunn family members Roger Gunn and Mr and Mrs Joseph Gunn of Salt Lake City and George White of Beaver.

Infant Daughter Buried Here in Parowan Cemetery
Three week old daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Ford of San Pedro California was buried in Parowan City cemetery last Saturday. Infant died in a San Pedro hospital of unknown causes. Jack Rosendahl of Indio California dedicated the grave. Survivors include one sister and three brothers. Family and local relatives attended the service including Mrs Lora M Gove Salt Lake City and others from Salt Lake Denver and Indio. The Fords are connected to the Mortensen family of Salt Lake. A second note mentions Ralph Adams graduation at Washington State University and the Pendletons’ trip to Spokane to attend.
