Dewey Bentley Shot Through the Leg at Farm Incident
Dewey Bentley of this city was accidentally shot in the leg below the knee on Monday at John P. Baylea’s farm while a boy from Enoch Rasmussen’s family handled a twenty two caliber gun. The bullet entered from the back and exited the front. Bentley treated the wound with a bandage and later saw a doctor as he grew weak. If infection is avoided, recovery should be swift with no serious effects.
