Ronald Robinson, 14, left town for Park City to stay with relatives Orion and family, helping on the dairy farm. Ronnie plans to be away at least a month. County Board Pledges Read Fund To Enoch Residents
County Commissioners promised financial aid to improve roads in Enoch after a large local delegation requested help. Plans include grading and oiling two sections from Enoch across Midvalley to the Land Highway and from Midvalley south to join Highway 91. About 4,000 remains in state road funds to begin work, with additional funds to follow after January 1.

Court Extends Date For Filing Water Protests
The District Court extended the protest period for Escalante Valley water rights. The new final date is October 14, 1960, replacing the former July 15, 1950 deadline. Judge granted the extension after a pre-trial hearing with State Engineer and Attorney General representatives. Sam Cline, counsel for many claimants, is hospitalized after a serious heart attack, preventing participation.

Duo Plead Guilty To Burglary Charge
Samuel S Ployd of Calif and Broent C Tuttle of Frye Malini pleaded guilty to second degree burglary in Parowan before Judge Will N Hoyt. They were arrested at Heaver July 1 after robbing the Flying A Service Station in Cedar City earlier that day, taking about $60. Attendant Dale Holyoak was forced into the car but released five miles north. officers captured the pair after the incident. The case was continued for advisement until July 26 in Parowan.
