Minnie A Burton Succumbs To Heart Attack In Parowan
Minnie A Burton, longtime Parowan resident and former teacher, died of a heart attack Monday while at her daughter Mea Miriam Barton’s dress shop. She was 77, born February 18, 1874, in Parowan to Charles and Sarah Davenport Adams. She taught in Kamas Green River and Parowan, worked as librarian in Inah City, and was active in L D S Church groups. Survived by son Charles F Turton and daughter Miriam Moore, plus five grandchildren and siblings. Funeral Thursday in Parowan Third Ward Church with burial in Parowan City Cemetery.

Denna Tullis Becomes Mrs Tattersall In Min Downe Tulle
Denna Tullis wed Tattersall in a double ceremony at the bride’s brother’s home with immediate family present. The bride’s gown was white with chantilly lace, bouquet included red roses and lilies, and a reception followed at the Ward Church. The couple plans a Grand Canyon honeymoon and will live in Beaver until the groom enters the army on July 8.

The opening meeting will kick off three days of workshops demonstrations on topics related to the school lunch program with state director Rudiey Ashty from Salt Lake City in charge.
