The Par Sey Singers and Yankee Singers will perform at East Ward chapel to aid Fourth War Bond drive. About forty one members in the ladies chorus and sixteen in the male group join the effort with solo and combined numbers. Admission is free but contributions to bond purchases are encouraged. Plans include cooperation from Alladin Theatre manager W Scott Mitch and a national drive beginning January 18 aiming for forty four billion dollars, with private investors to cover large portions of the quota. Aged Resident Buried After West Ward Funeral Service
A funeral was held Monday at the West ward chapel for Mar Dolokinske, aged 4, wife of L John Dolokinske. Born in West Prussia in 1859, she and husband were LDS converts who emigrated to America forty-nine and forty-seven years ago respectively. The couple settled in Salt Lake City before moving to Parowan Bottoms and later town life. A son was mentioned but not present.

The Utah State Woolgrowers Convention is set for next Thursday and Friday at Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City, with local sheepmen planning to attend. County Board Holds Jaw Meeting on Taxes and Lands

Deer In Town Seek Food Amid Deep Snow
With heavy snowfall deer from foothill areas wander into town to feed on gardens and orchards. Twenty five to thirty deer were spotted feeding on the Joseph Takeda family's celery patch east of town, with others seen near M. E. Lowder, Wm. F. Whitney, and James C. Robinson property. Residents fired guns but no animals were killed. it remains unclear what will be done about the deer as forage remains scarce.

OPA Allows January Shoe Clearance Sales
