The faculty ladies hosted a formal dinner Wednesday February first with red and white decor and colonial dolls as centerpieces. Mia Edna Hatchway and Wanda Esplin served as toast mistresss as male chorus performed a parody and several toasts were given.
Lamp Post Falls as Packard Sputters at Bank Corner
Wilford Day's Packard stalled before noon Monday near the Bank corner. After attempts to start, Day rolled the car and managed to avoid a head on with the bank. The vehicle drifted down the sidewalk and struck a lamp post, breaking it. No serious car damage reported.

Marshall Boys Caught Ice Cream Theft in Record Time
Within thirty minutes of notification from the faculty the Green & Green store was found with missing ice cream. Grant Lowder and Earl Burton were taken into Justice Morris's court on Saturday and fined 15 dollars each with option of ten days in jail.
