Hyrum Allen longtime resident died in Pay son Sunday February 18 after short services at the home of Mr and Mrs Henry Miewp. Speakers included George W Decker Cedar City and Simon Matheson Parowan. A male quartet sang and Silas Topham sang Whispering Home. Burial was officiated by George Rowgey. Allen moved to Provo ten years ago and is survived by daughters Maggie Fisher Coral and Mrs Amie Wokneshead and others in the town.
The regular monthly meeting of the Daughters of the Utah Piotests will be held next Thursday at 2 oclock at the home of Mrs Enlee Beck. The lesson will cover statehood. Officers request attendance and help locating missing copies of the organization books. If any Are found please bring them to the Thursday meeting for police return.
Parowan Exchange Club schedules a regular semi monthly meeting at Taylor's Cafe next Monday at noon. All members and others interested are invited to attend.
