The Southern Rambouillet Sheep Producers' Association met to outline steps for the coming fair to be hosted in this region. Plans for the Gun and Rod Club annual dance are forming for the 28th in the recreation hall. Advertised in neighboring communities, the event draws substantial numbers. Parowan couple Eugene Warren and Misa Mon ta Lister were married Saturday in Richfield with the County Clerk officiating. The groom is the late Joseph A. Warren’s son and a hardworking man. the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K. Lister, a respected young lady whose home-making skills suit her role. They will reside in the community for now as friends extend best wishes. Mrs Agile Bentley Cawood arrived from Ninols to visit briefly. Mr and Mrs Wm John Jones left for Springdale to spend part of the winter, Mrs Jones’s former home.

A sequence of festive events fills the season from this week through New Year’s night. Parowan Livestock Association discussed a drift fence from Wi H Lyman pasture toward the Parowan Wan mountains to fence cattle north of Bear Flat and Head of the Mammoth. Forest Ranger Frank Secamady noted possible funding after feasibility study. no action taken.
