Court Holds Brief Session Clears Several Defaults

The District Court with Judge Burton presiding held a brief session last week. Motions and demurrers were ruled on, and sheriff’s sale costs and attorney fees were ordered to be paid first. If sale proceeds fall short, deficits would be pro rated among creditors. Judgment entered against J B Carpenter in a case where Bank of Emmett Idaho and Federal Land Bank of Berkeley pursued claims, and Bank of Southern Utah obtained judgment against Arch Swapt.

Music Teacher Discharged for Immoral Conduct

Livestock Association Holds Balance and Picks Directors

The Parowar Livestock association reports a treasury of upwards of 550 dollars, prompting debate on annual assessments.
