Neita Bentley Bayles dies after long illness in Parowan
Neita Bentley Bayles 53 wife of John P Bayles of Parowan died Sunday at the family home after years of poor health and multiple operations. Born March 19 1896 in Parowan she grew up here and attended local schools later joining the LDS Church. Survived by husband and children Marrell B Frank B Ian Gaylen Bayles Adele Matheon Sarah Joy Bayles Dorthea B Kimeon three brothers Henry Bentley and a sister. Pallbearers were her three sons. The exserviceman in his senior year expects to graduate in June with a mechanical engineering degree and may pursue a second major. Eldon Laub Orton 18 of Parowan joins the Air Force for four years under Salt Lake City Recruiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark Orton. He played left tackle at Parowan High School and aims to study jet engine mechanics. He left Tuesday November 22 for Lackland AFB Texas for thirteen weeks of basic training before his first assignment.
