Panguitch Lake eradication by poisoning streams and lake ended after a seven hour operation. About 1200 trout estimated taken, 150 salvaged by Fish and Game personnel to local charities. Plan included a second poison dose Friday to guard against new hatchlings.

Wranglers Assist Committee With Race Meet
The Red Hill Wranglers Saddle Club of Parowan will work as a committee to help the Iron County Fair Board stage major entertainment for the County Fair. Club officers announced two full horse racing programs for Saturday and Monday afternoons and said equestrian events will accompany races.
