Rambouillet Sheep Show Opens Amid Convention Activities
The Seventh annual Rambouillet Sheep Show is under way at the show barn in town hosted by the Southern Utah Rambouillet Sheep Breeders Association. Judge Juan T. Calnell will oversee judging amid many entries. entertainment features are limited to a couple of dances and a colt show with remount judging by Major A. Ir. Jones. Dairy cattle events sponsored by the Southern Utah Dairy Co. offer ribbons for top cattle, and the Ramouillet Dretdera Association plans its annual banquet and officer elections at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Beer Raid Finds Fifteen Gallons Of Malt Liquor At Lowe Farm
Keen disappointment followed a raid by the City Marshal and deputy sheriff at the Arnold Lowe farm home. Fifteen gallons of brewing were found under the staircase and several jugs ready to bottle. Arnold Lowe pleaded guilty in Justice Morris's court and was fined 150 dollars or 60 days in jail. Mrs Lowe denied knowledge of the sale claiming the beer was for her own use due to a bad heart.

Alger boy injured by accidental rifle discharge
Warren Alger a 14 year old from this city was accidentally shot in the right forearm Sunday morning at the Day sheep camp on the mountain. The 3% caliber rifle discharged when jolted on the bed, the bullet shattered the bone and lodged in the arm. doctors opted to leave the wound untreated. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is recovering well.
