Cleo Robinson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Chester Robinson, has been named valedictorian of Parowan High School’s 1949 graduating class. Her top scholarship, 4-H leadership, and work in home economics and business earned the honor. She will deliver the valedictory May 20 with the theme Youth, the Hope of Tomorrow. She plans to attend Branch Agricultural College next winter on the Carl R Gray scholarship from Union Pacific.

She died early Friday morning April 22 at the home of her son and daughter in law Mr and Mrs Hyrum Boardman in Parowan after leaving Iron County hospital where she had been critically ill for some time.
