Big game hunts begin across Idaho in varied districts
Idaho's big game season opens with deer and elk in multiple districts starting September 25. Prospects look better after a light last winter and good fawn and calf crops. Margaret Lucille Egley 16 of Burley died when a tall aerial pole toppled by a gust struck her and companion Nadine Holmes as they crossed a vacant lot on their way to Burley High School. Egley was born in Paris May 16 1928 and moved to Burley in 1948.

Heber Humpherys aged 76 died Wednesday morning at 1 in Montpelier hospital after a brief illness. A Paris native, he spent most of his life here except a two year mission in England 1905-1906. Survived by daughters Mrs Walter Jeffries Idaho Falls Mrs Lalfer Davis Blackfoot Mrs Doris Roberts Smithfield Utah Mrs Fern Vallentine and Mrs Jean Jones Paris Gereint Humpherys Los Angeles and Clem Humpherys Paz. The widow died in 1882. One son preceded him in death.
