The Peterson family of Ovid mourns as their 24 year old daughter Mrs Roy Findlay dies from typhoid fever. Her younger sister is ill and a 13 year old brother died two weeks earlier. funeral set for Friday at 2 p.m. in the Ovid ward chapel.
The Fourth Annual Fair in St Charles opens Friday morning with events on Friday and Saturday September 21 22. Separate 3 PM meetings for men and women feature speakers on women's work poultry and weeds with Dr R L Richards and Miss Amy Kelly among presenters. An 8 PM public meeting includes songs talks duets and a boy and girl theme. Saturday night features a dance and exhibits from Bear Lake valley with invites to county residents to attend.
Farmers in Clawson organize as a cooperative to build a Swiss cheese factory in Tetonia. They plan to produce cheese on a per-want basis with banks handling bookkeeping and issuing checks.

The Cocaeile Independent notes Raymond and Geneva residents have installed a cheese factory at Geneva to support farmers. It starts operation next week with the belief the region will soon host more dairies and factories as producers feed Boll products to cows hogs and sheep, signaling progress and hopeful success.
A cablegram to President Heber J. Grant from Vernal reports Louis H. Moore and the entire Mormon missionary group in Japan escaped the disaster. Nineteen missionaries and one child of Elder Floyd Olvie were accounted for. a Saporo conference near Tokyo had just closed when the quake struck, and leaders had not yet reached the affected area.
Preliminary census figures indicate Idaho counties with larger towns show more divorces relative to marriages. Owyhee blends mining and agriculture. Teton records forty marriages and one divorce. Statewide 1922 divorces total 845 with 4188 marriages, per census reports.
The Cache County Fair in Logan September 25–27 features extensive harness and running races with a strong field of Utah and Idaho horses. Thousands are expected for dairy cattle displays, dog races, and Wheeler Circus acts between heats, while a pullometer records horse weights in pulling matches.

Woodard of Tremonton Utah, Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Hayward, and Mr. and Mrs. Ira N. Hayward of Logan Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Neibaur.
Mrs. Caroline Linvall aged 86 died at her daughter Mrs. Mike Malone's home in Montpelier after long illness from dropsy. Born October 26, 1847 in Denmark, she immigrated to America and lived 67 years in Bear Lake county. Survived by six children including Mrs. John Scott and Mrs. Henry Douglas. Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m. at Malone home, Montpelier Cemetery interment.
Paris hosts Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce reps during a tri state goodwill tour through Wyoming Idaho and Utah. They met with Salt Lake business leaders for about an hour to foster closer relations and plan further outreach. The delegation then visited Coalville Fort Bridger and Ryman before continuing to Lava Hot Springs and returning to Salt Lake City.

Fred Gustafson reports a new Federation wheat record yield of 120 bushels from one and a half acres on an experimental plot with state experiment division. He plans to grow the variety exclusively next year, believing it thrives on rich ground without rust or smut and noting shorter, stiffer straw than Dicklow.
A revised milk delivery schedule proposed for DePalpment and Teton aims to streamline routes. Each man will cover as many days as his milk cans allow, with two cans equating to two delivery days and the wagon moving to the next customer after completion.

The Paris L D S Seminary began registration with over seventy students on Monday and 105 by Wednesday evening. Most high school pupils have not yet enrolled for seminary work, and parents and patrons are invited to visit and participate.
