C F Smith of Deer Flat Idaho reports a record potato yield from 35 acres totaling 750000 pounds from 25 carloads. At two cents a pound gross revenue reaches 15000 dollars with potential to exceed 15000 more from remaining 35 acres. Smith plans larger production next year.

Mutual Convention Draws Record Attendance in Paris
A large crowd attended the MIA mutual convention in Paris last Sunday. Visitors Elder Oscar A. Kirkham and Mrs Ann M Cannon from Salt Lake City praised Lake stake leadership and the bishopric. Kirkham described the gathering as the finest representation of mutual workers and hinted at plans for winter work. A fuller report will appear next week.
