Raymond Boy Graduates From Navy Scot Camp
Robert L. Wheat, son of Mr and Mrs A R Linford of Raymond, graduated from recruit training on August 19 at the Naval Training Center in San Diego California. The nine week boot camp included a full dress parade and review before military officials and civilian dignitaries. The graduate becomes a Navy Bluejacket ready for fleet duty.
