Thelda G. Williams 46 daughter of Clem Humpherys died Friday at Marsh Valley Hospital Downey born May 13 1922 in Paris. She married Richard L Williams April 13 1945 in Pocatello later in the Logan LDS Temple and served as a teacher and Relief Society secretary. Survived by husband two sons Dan and John a daughter Debbie and four sisters. Funeral Monday at Garden Creek Ward Chapel with Bishop Ezra Armstrong officiating.

Nellie Osmond Hart, 94, longtime Bloomington resident, died in Pocatello Idaho of age related causes. Born July 2, 1874 to George and Georgina Osmond, she married Eugene S Hart in 1897. She taught in Wyoming Idaho and attended Utah State College. Survived by four grandchildren and several half siblings. Funeral at Bloomington LDS Ward Chapel with interment in Bloomington City Cemetery.

District Judge Sentences Burglar in Montpelier Case
Steve Nelson of Murray Utah pleaded guilty before District Judge Francis Rasmussen after Montpelier Police halted a burglary attempt at Modern Drug in Montpelier August 25. Nelson received 14 years in the state penitentiary with a three year parole. violation implies immediate return to prison. Stephen Hull of Salt Lake City waived a prehearing on related charges and faces district court after staying in Logan hospital and Lake Memorial Hospital where he was wounded during the escape attempt.

Shari Ann Sorenson three year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Keith Sorenson lost consciousness while playing and was hospitalized. Doctors suspected poisoning and after tests contacted Idaho State University poison center. antidote from Logan Utah was flown to Montpelier and given. Cyanide from apricot pits caused the illness. the child is recovering.
