Oiling of Highway From Smoot to Geneva Begins
Oiling work started last Thursday from Smoot in Star Valley to near Geneva with Blanchard Bros. based in Cokeville awarded the contract. The Smoot to Allied Flat section will be permanently oiled and graded, while the Flat to state line gets four base oilings. Northwestern Construction Co. oils twelve miles in Lower Star Valley, leaving about three miles unfinished through Narrows and near the Snake River bridge.
