Harley V Hansen aged 71 died suddenly Saturday morning at his Bloomington home after stomach trouble. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Bloomington Ward chapel. He was born in Paris Idaho and survived by a large family including 5 daughters, 4 sons, 38 sisters, and 29 grandchildren with 7 great grandchildren. The F. M. Williams Mortuary handled arrangements and burial was in St Charles cemetery.

Sgt. Nord D. Jacobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Jacobson of Ogden, wounded in France on August 28 while serving in a tank destroyer unit. He enlisted January 1948 and has been overseas since April 1944. He trained at Camp Hood, Camp Bowie, and Camp Claiborne. He was born in Bloomington Idaho and lived in Ogden two years before service. His brother Pvt. Gene H. Jacobson also serves in France with the Field Artillery.
