Spartans of Fielding to clash with Montpelier Bears in annual game
In Paris on Friday October 20 the Spartans of Fielding meet the Montpelier Bears in a long standing rivalry. Fielding holds a season record with one loss and one tie while Montpelier has two defeats. The twenty eight games since 1928 show Fielding with one tie and no losses to Montpelier. Events include a 11 a.m. high school auditorium ceremony, a 1 p.m. parade, 2 p.m. game, and a 9 p.m. dance with a queen crowned. Public invited.

The Bear Lake County Board of Education sponsors a two day program from October 28 to 25 with sessions 9 80 am to 3 50 pm at Fielding High School Paris. Experts from Idaho state police and local districts train drivers on traffic laws first aid and bus operation.
