Range feed conditions good in Idaho say USDA report
Idaho range feed on October 1 remained unchanged from a month earlier with an average condition of 78 versus the 1947 56 October average of 77. Temperatures were cooler and rainfall limited, softening grasses and lowering fire danger. Winter range feed showed no month to month change as forage and feed grain supplies remained ample.
