Georgetown Burglaries Reported In Sunday Incident

Dunford's Market and Darr ell Passey's service station were burglarized. Hatton and Kemp faced District Court on burglary charges, pled guilty, and were bound over. Bonds were set at 10,000 each. detectives pursue Salt Lake County warrants. Hatton is AWOL from the Army.

Make It With Wool Contest District Two Winners Named

The Make It With Wool contest for District Two concluded in Aberdeen with adult and junior divisions. Winners include Kissa Hammond of Preston in the adult group and Blaine Johnson with Shirley Long in the junior division, with others listed as finalists and participants.

Voter Turnout Varying Across Bloomington and St. Charles Elections

In St. Charles 121 of 128 registered voters cast ballots to elect City Council members. Purtell Pugmire and E. Cleveland led with 81 and 46 votes respectively, over Arlen Wilkes and others. Bloomington turnout reached 78 of two seats, with Ed. and Jeddock among top finishers. Montpelier reported about 688 eligible voters and 480 votes for council candidates.

Funeral services are planned Friday at 1 00 p m at the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary Ogden for Glen Wright Innes 58 who died of natural causes at his Ogden home. Born February 9 1914 in Paris he was a son of Earl and Catherine Wright Annes He married Wilma Stillwell July 6 1987 in Preston He owned land ran a service station and was a former employee of Straitlcray Excess Company and the Southern Railway He belonged to the LDS Church the BPOE 719 and Andres Duck Club Survivors include his widow two daughters Linda Ann and Margene Jackson a son a mother a brother and two sisters Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles Law set in Paris

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 00 p m at the Paris LDS Wards Chapel for Charles IL Law 21 of Paris who died Tuesday November 7 in an Ogden convalescent home Friends may pay their respects at the family home Thursday evening and Friday morn Paris accident involves Nelson and Nelson Mrs Van Nelson driving west on Center Street when Doyle Nelson of Bloomington backed his car from the curb striking the Van Nelson car on the rear right causing about 150 damage The accident occurred about 2 00 am 50 feet west of the intersection of Center and Hwy 89 Paris

The Jensen Wood area suffered a break in early Sunday into Monday with about $500 in cash and $2,200 in checks taken. Police report the thief entered through a passage, money and checks were hidden on the premises, and the investigation continues.
