One hundred fifty students will graduate this afternoon at 1 30 p m in the tabernacle. County schools send pupils to receive diplomas marking the end of their common school education. The program includes invocation song and address, diploma presentations by Superintendent J W Wright and remarks by D L Roberts, with benediction.

Arnold Walter Brooker 25 of Garden City Utah died Monday after a daylong pneumonia battle at his in law's home. Born July 10 1918 in Garden City he was the son of A H Brooker. He married Viola Lewis November 4 1935 and they had one daughter Marjean. Survived by wife daughter mother and several Garden City relatives. Body at F M Williams Mortuary.

Grasshopper control program to start in Bear Lake County
John Zukel reports Bear Lake County will implement a grasshopper control program with U S government supplied bait and a county mixing plant at Montpelier Coal and Lumber. Jim Simmons leads mixing. twenty five tons prepared as needed for each farm with early morning or late evening application after egg beds hatch around June 1. Prominent Paris Man Dies After Long Illness
Otto Rohner 63 prominent Paris citizen and local coal dealer died of heart ailment at his home after a lingering illness. Born July 30 1875 in Switzerland he joined the L D S church as a child and lived in Bear Lake county. Survived by five daughters and two sons and nine grandchildren. funeral held Monday at 2 00 p m in the Paris Second Ward L D S chapel with services by the bishopric and mortuary.
