Funeral Service Held Monday for Mrs Dougan
Funeral services were held Monday at two at Williams Mortuary in Montpelier for Mrs Josephine Baldwin Dougan who died last Tuesday. The service featured Bishop Sidney Burgoyne, mixed quartet and solos with remarks by W Smith Hoge and Sidney Burgoyne. She was born in Lander Wyoming on March 17 1873 and was active in the Lander Eastern Star Montpelier chapter and Lander Episcopal church. Her son Sgt Jack Dougan and his wife arrived from an army post in Canada.

In Bear Lake county officials detail 1944 rodent control by the County Agent's office in Paris and the AAA office in Montpelier. Gas cartridges sell for four cents each once available, strychnine oats ten cents per pound from June, thallium poisoned oats for trouble spots at higher cost, and zoo phos phide may come later at undetermined price.
