Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Dedication Draws Thousands in Montpelier
A large crowd attended the dedication of Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, a $365000 facility with government support and local funding. The hospital houses 35 beds and modern facilities with Herbert G. Ericsson as administrator and a full medical and nursing staff led by Dr. L P. Gaertner and Miss Martha White overseeing operations. Room rates range from six to ten dollars per day with a 25 cent telephone fee and visiting hours posted. the hospital opened for patients Tuesday.

Mrs Rose Stock 60 Dies After Prolonged Illness in Wyoming
Mrs Rose Stock aged 60 died Tuesday in Evanston Wyoming after a lingering illness. Born April 22 1869 in Salt Lake City she was the daughter of Christina Scofield a bodyguard to Brigham Young. She married William Henry Shirley in 1839 and later Charles C Stock in 1941. Survivors include son Henry Binley of Evanston Wyoming a nephew Don Loveland eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She lived most of her life in Wish Haven.
