The Bear Lake PTA and the Junior and Senior High Schools plan a March 25 meeting at 8:00 p.m. in Bear Lake Jr High. County Attorney Gary Williams will moderate a panel of parents and students to craft a parent conduct code. The program seeks full family participation to complete the series of PTA meetings.
The Bear Lake Valley Market defeated Lowe Drug 76 to 67 to claim the Paris Lions Tournament for the third year in a row. Wynn Wallentine led Bear Lake with 19 points, Don Law paced Parrish Bros with 85 tournament points, and Ray Humpherys starred for Lowe Drug with 20. The event sections note prior nights’ results and all tournament selections.

Olive De Renzy Collings 72 wife of Lyman Collings former Paris resident died March 16 in a Phoenix hospital from injuries suffered in a March 15 automobile crash in Phoenix. Funeral services were held in Mesa. Survived by husband and children including son William of Denver and daughters Mrs Erv.
