The sale set for March 30 1931 at 10 00 a m at the county courthouse in Paris Idaho to the highest cash bidder.
In the Probate Court of Bear Lake County Idaho the estate of Frederick Wilks and Mary Wilks deceased offers real estate for private sale. The property in Bloomington Bear Lake County Idaho described as Lot 6 and 7 Block 8 Section 23 Township 14 Range 43 east Boise meridian contains two acres 29 square rods more or less. Cash with ten percent at sale and balance on court confirmation. Bids must be in writing directed to D E B Haddock attorney or filed with the court at Paris Idaho after first publication and before sale. Alfred A Hart administrator February 28 1931.
The Veterans Administration office in Boise Idaho reports many loan applications for Adjusted Service Certificates. Acting Manager Robert P Shields warns veterans not to expect same day checks and not to travel to the Bureau with notes. Urges mailing notes with endorsements from ex service groups or Red Cross if in need for prior consideration. Loans require two years since certificate effective date and may be made by bank or Bureau. A Lava Hot Springs baker offered customers bread at 6 cents for two loaves last week.
