Funeral services held Tuesday for Mary Nelson
Funeral services for Mary E Arnell Nelson were held Tuesday in the Bloomington ward chapel attended by many relatives. Born in Centerville Utah 1862 she came to Bear Lake in 1864 with her parents who settled in St Charles. She married James A Nelson in Logan Temple October 28 1885 and died at age 76. Survived by husband five children, seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Six siblings also listed.

Forest rangers Jaya B. Hann and E. W. Nye surveyed March 1 in St Charles Dry canyon and St Charles Big Creek to count deer and assess winter conditions. They observed up to 150 deer, showed heavy browsing in past years, and noted 3 to 4 feet of snow at 7400 feet with sagebrush on south slopes. few coyotes were seen and no major predation noted.
