Gas Defense Training In U S Army Schools
At each cantonment in the United States a school trains officers and men in gas defense. The American gas mask, like the British, is highly refined. The mask seals with eyepieces and a canister, and the wearer learns to don it quickly. Training includes trench exercises with gas clouds and alarm drills, then air testing and permission to remove masks.
